Renewing My Wedding Vows?

Hi guys!

I have been wanting to renew my vows with my wife for some time now, and was thinking of a GREAT way to do it. I want it to be a surprise for her. Does WDW offer this service? and Do you think December is a good time to accomplish this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, Disney does do vow renewals...from what I understand it's basically the same as the regular weddings except you just need to provide a copy of your license.

Our "Intimate Wedding" will technicall be a vow renewal (we're doing the actual legal wedding a few days before we go to Disney for our wedding there).

Go to www.disneyweddings.com to get some basic information for where and how and all that...

I would think December is a good time with all the holiday decorations. Early December is supposedly not as busy as later in the month (at least that's what I've heard).

HI! I'm new to this so I hope I get it right! I have been planning a vow renewal for close to a year. It is scheduled for 11/28/05 on the Wonder. Have been working with Disney Wedding planners. It's really a simple process - They send you a planning booklet, you review and choose your flowers, cake and music. Everything is included in the price - approx. $1,000.
It takes place in the Cadillac Lounge with the ship's captain officiating. I have not told my husband yet and am still not sure when I will tell him. I may wait until the time we actually do the ceremony and surprise him. Disney has been great at keeping this a secret - my planner arrived in a plain package and all phone calls have originated on my end only. I think December is a wonderful month to renew vows. Our Wedding was in Sept and we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary 2 months before our vow renewal. Our 19 yr old daughter will be my Maid of Honor and our 12 yr old son will be my husband's best man. The weather in Florida is perfect in December! Good Luck!
