Renewals good for 13 months extended to October 1,2017

Postcard in the mail today about Epcot Festival of the Arts included this blurb about renewals.

That's nice. I guess that means that anyone that bought an 12mo AP before the promo will still be able to get a 13mo AP renewal.

I haven't followed details on renewals since I thought I wouldn't qualify for the 13 month deal. Quick question. I renew in April will my payments be split 13 months or will I pay 12 with the last month with no payment?

And this is for renewals only, not new APs? We're buying an AP in late June.

1) Yes, only FL residents can do the monthly payment plan.

2) Yes, only renewals. It ended for new APs, but was extended for renewals presumably because people don't get to choose their renewal window.

our renewal isn't until september, will it still be good then? Also, is the 13 month promo still good for new AP's? I want to buy my son one now but activate in June.... wondering if I buy now, will it be good until july once activated in june?

You will get the 13 months. You son will not.

that's been my annoy guest relations and ticketing argument since this started. Good on disney for not just saying no while putting out offers to try to get us into the parks more. Maybe they've finally turned the corner on AP holders and see where our value really is.

now I just hope I stay where I renew just before the price increase on AP happens. (I'll be moving to end of sept renewal date)

This is awesome! Quick question...I have an annual pass....but I also have a 4 day park hopper ticket in my account. Can I apply the the 4 day park hopper to my renewal when I go to renew my pass? I would do this at guest relations right? Thx.

that's a normal renew option so I don't see how getting a 13 month would stop that.

Cool! I thought we would miss out on this. Our renewal is March. This might allow us to get in a Spring Break 2018 vacation on our passes. Not sure if I can convince hubby of this idea though. I need my fix and currently don't have a WDW trip planned in 2018.

Oops. I told my husband it had to be renewed and picked up before January 3rd to get the 13 months. So I got a long weekend trip in December.

Good thing I'm only 8 hours away. LOL

So happy to see this!!!! I also renew in March which was outside of the first 13 month renewal offer! Now I can renew and also plan a trip for April of 2018 (for after Easter when the crowds have died down!!)!!!

How early are you able to renew an AP again? My AP expired Oct 12, 2016 but I ended up renewing it in Nov 2016 to get the extra month, so my new expiration date would be 11/17, correct? Wondering if I will be able to renew it one more time to get an additional extra month.
