Renewal FL Resident AP - need to go to GS?

We're going with FL resident friends & are trying to figure out how much time to allow before MNSSHP on our first day. Going to GS can sometimes be a lengthy process, so we want to account for that if necessary. Obviously, if they can just walk in with their old bands & pick up the new AP card on another day, that would be awesome.
