Just booked a lunch for May 6th-our anniversary!:goodvibes I love Chefs! But with 2 kids- I didn't think they would take to it; but because of Remy we have too be there! The boys will think it's a hoot! And I'll have a special anniversary lunch!;)

When I made our ADRs on Sunday, the CM told me he makes appearances until 6pm. May or may not be true.

I just read that Remy only makes appearances once at dinner at 5 PM . . . does anyone know if this is true?!?!

This is where I saw it: http://micechat.com/forums/walt-dis...e-france-photos-video-flower-garden-pics.html

(I hope I can post that)

I finally got an ADR on a Monday at 5:30. First we had a Sunday ADR and I read that he wasn't there Sundays . . . now am I "outta luck" because we're going to be a half hour too late?!?!

According to this week's All Ears Net newsletter, Remy is there until 6:00pm.

We are eating at Bistro de Paris in April ... Anyone know if Remy makes the rounds there? Thanks!:thumbsup2

I'm so bummed. :sad1: I have chefs at 7:30 on a Sunday. I'm afraid to change it. We have Tutto on Wednesday but I'd have to switch both of them :sad2: The way my luck has been lately (within the last week my 2 yr old car blew the tranny and it's main computer and there's something wrong with the drive shaft and my laptop's hard-drive crashed and the dvd drive on my desktop stopped working and...:headache: ) I'd end up losing all my ADRs :scared:

We had dinner at 5pm last Saturday and saw Remy come through while waiting for our desserts. I would have guessed it was close to 6pm.

I made an ADR for a Sunday (our wedding anniversary) at noon, then changed it to 12:30 just so we could be sure to see Remy.

Can anyone confirm that Remy is not there on Sundays? Because the CM I spoke to on the phone, and the web sites I have seen, all said that he is there daily. I need to know for sure in case I have to change our ADR.

I do not have time to post all the links, but if you google

remy chefs de france sundays

you will get links to at least four websites that note he is not at Chefs on Sundays.

At this point I would not book a Sunday reservation if you are making the reservation solely because you want to see Remy.

I didn't want to risk missing Remy. This is the main reason we decided to go to Chefs de France for our anniversary instead of some other restaurant closer to home. So, I managed to get an ADR for the day before our anniversary, which is a Saturday. Now I feel better about our chances of seeing him.

We had lunch at Chefs de France last week and I took some pictures.

Thanks for posting the photos -- you took great pictures!:) We're really looking forward to our lunch there!:)

This looks so awesome! We were already planning on booking Chefs de France, but this is an extra cool treat to go along with it. I won't tell anyone in my family about it. I want it to be a surprise. Plus, if it doesn't happen, no disappointments! :)

Chefs is getting REALLY popular now. I tried to get an ADR for July 4th lunch but nothing was available. Now, I'm just going to try for ANY lunch during our trip.

It's probably because of the holiday. We walked up during Martin Luther King weekend last year, and were turned away because we didn't have a reservation.

It's also been noted that Remy has Sundays off.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! That's when I have an ADR.

ETA: I was able to reschedule for a lunch time on 4/30/09 and they said that there were plenty of lunch times open for that day. :woohoo:

Oh! I hope, hope, hope Remy will make an appearance during our lunch at Chefs in April! It will be our first time at Chefs, and I just found this thread today and I'm so excited!

Hey mmmears! I think we have a lot in common as I find you often while I'm planning :) Did you eat at Chefs yet, and did you get to see Remy? I just found about it today and booked a five pm ressie on a Wednesday. The only reason I'm going is so my DD can see him...it is her favorite disney movie....she calls him the "cooking mouse" :goodvibes

Hi lissiesmum! We had lunch at Chefs and Remy came by our table! He is just adorable -- so cute, and he squeaks and interacts with people. I left it as a surprise for my DD and that was so much fun. He only spends a minute or so at each table, but it was a really neat experience.

I booked the lunch months ago because I though it would be nice, then I was so excited to find out about Remy. The food was great, too, as was the service!

I hope that you & your DD have as much fun with Remy & the Poly as we are!:)
