The Remy brunch is expensive and I have a seafood allergy. Is this dining experience worth the price? We are booked in January for Remy brunch, but I am having second thoughts based on a couple of reviews. These reviews were done a couple of years ago and it would be nice to hear about recent experiences. Has anyone experience this brunch this year on the Fantasy? Your opinion is very welcomed.

We had Remy brunch on the Fantasy 8-night recently. It was absolutely fabulous - the best meal we had on the entire cruise (and we also had Remy dinner, Palo brunch, and Palo dinner). I’ve attached images of all the dishes. They are also willing to substitute if there are things you don’t like/eat. Also did the champagne pairing (you get one glass included - this is 3 additional that pair with the food) - it was exquisite!

My favorite meal on the ship. We sailed in September. You can easily avoid seafood.

We sailed in 2018, and I kid you not, the food was so good it made my husband cry. Plus, they had a seat for my purse. Gotta do it at least once!!

The little chair for the purse... My purse has never been so happy LOL 😂

I sailed on the Fantasy October 24th-30th. It was my first time at Remy and I did the brunch with a shellfish/seafood allergy. I wondered if it would be worth it and it absolutely was one of the tastiest meals and experiences I have had on a vacation. I did it solo and also added the champagne tasting (do it). I don't mean to sound dramatic, but I seriously almost had a teary eye on a few of the courses. I thought I would never be able to eat everything, but I didn't leave anything on the plate for any course. I want to do it again.

I tried it once and didn't particularly care for it. The choices were very limited, almost nonexistent, so if you didn't happen to like a certain food item, you were SOL. It was just my luck that most of what was served that day didn't happen to be to my taste. It was five years ago, so maybe they've become more liberal about allowing substitutions as others indicate on this thread. If you're a big foodie who loves to try new gourmet foods, you'll probably love it. There's no harm in trying it so that you can have your own opinion.

How much is the Remy brunch? As platinum cruiser, I get $45 towards the cost. I know Palo Brunch and Dinner are the same price. Remy dinner is $100+??

I felt the same way. Didn't love it but didn't hate it. I wouldn't spend the money to do it again.

Hmmm. We're sailing on the Fantasy next year and I was planning to do Remy dinner but had written off Remy brunch since I love Palo brunch so much. With the removal of the buffet though, Palo brunch is much less appealing to me. Perhaps I should give Remy brunch another look...

If what you loved about the Palo Brunch was choices, the Remy brunch will have fewer than the current Palo brunch. I LOVE Remy brunch, but it is a very different experience than Palo.
