I'm not going to do a full dining review here, but for those interested I thought I'd post.

I had an ADR at Chefs de France for 09/13/2010 at 4:40. I thought that'd be a good time because the Live Entertainment website had listed Remy at 5:20. I think Remy didn't get started on that particular Monday until about 5:45. He may have been having some technical issues. (I could be wrong as we were in the back of the restaurant.) If anyone else was there that day please correct me. I hope this helps any of you hoping to see the little chef on your trip.

So did you get to see him, or were you guys all done with your meal?

We have 4:40's next week at CDF and I made that time after Dis'ers encouraged me to move a 5:05 a bit earlier!!!!

Does Remy always go on only during dinner time? I have a lunch ADR, but I really would like to see Remy.

Where do you find info out about Remy? We have a 4:40 ADR in October. I keep seeing posts about Remy, but don't know anything about it. :confused3 Can someone explain, or point me in the right direction?

On Steve Soare's website there was a listing of times. We booked an early dinner because we wanted to see him, but also wanted to have dinner. I can't find the times right now, but he has more lunch time showings, as far as I know. We did get to see him, but only through the kindness of our server. On our particular day Remy did not make it to our table on time, but that may have been unique to our day.

Be aware that he does NOT appear on Sundays at all, and most recently was on " vacation" not sure he is back yet.In any event, it is NOT a regular character meal.Remy is a small little critter that rolls thru the dining room on a serving cart and talks thru his handler and does a little show.He starts at the time listed and rolls thru.If you are seated late or simply not in your seat , he does NOT COME BACK.If you miss him, you miss him. Also he has been known to have technical issues and not appear at all, and without notice. It is best that you don't promise Remy to small kids etc.

Oh I don't plan on telling her. I'd love for it to be a surprise. But I'd be piiiiiissed if he didn't show. We are not "foodies" so this place is not somewhere I would normally eat. We more like buffet type food.

We were there on 9/27/10 and told remy would be away for at least 2 weeks "on vacation".

Very bummer. My meal was OK but they are the only place that charged us for a refill on kids drinks - chocolate milk and meanwhile my son was only drinking water so if they wanted to be really technical she could have had his drink entitlement..We paid it but geez... $12 for a chocolate milk and cup of cappucino that tasted horrible.

Holy smokes! Well, if they're gonna be all snooty and "French" ( :lmao: ) I might just cancel the reservation altogether. Lord knows, I like my soda refills.
