Hi. My party was a group of 6, but now because of work commitments we will be 5. If I take the person off of the room reservation can I also remove them from the DDP and get that money back? Or should I just explain the situation at the front desk and see how it goes?

I rented points so I can’t call to edit anything and we are leaving in under 2 weeks.
thanks!

Maybe. Did you pay Disney directly, or did you pay the owner/agency? You really need to contact them.

I paid the agency and the owner called for me. I’m still hoping that we will have everyone in the party but it’s not looking like it. My DH is ok just letting it go but I’m of the mindset if we can get the money back we can put it towards a future trip.

If you are planning on refunding the DP you need to call the owner NOW... it has to be done at least 24 hours before check in... if you wait and the owner does not contact you back you are out of luck and yes that person will need to be removed from the reservation. Did you buy tickets yet as this can cause another problem?
