Remodel pictures... before/after??

I'm bored and was flipping through before/after pictures from the many, many projects going on at our house... and realized how much I catch myself looking at them amazed at what we've done.

So, anyone else have before and after pictures they'd like to share??

Ohh. I like that a lot!

One benefit I've found of big tile is easier to clean then the little tile.. seems like the extra grout just makes it that much harder to sweep and that much more groove for the dog to get stuff in!

These pictures aren't the greatest, I should really take more.. but here is the bathroom that was completely redone (including floors/drywall from ROT, icky!)

Here is the master bath floor after. I don't have any before,but it was carpeted.

Here is where we put hardwood in the diningroom. It was also carpeted before.

This was before we had someone come in an polyurethane it and before we put the baseboards back up.

We have replaced almost all of the doors in the house this year (well, starting Dec 07). I don't have pictures uploaded of those those. I love having a handy husband.

I LOVE the design in the tile! I don't have the patience for stuff like that! At all! But it's GORGEOUS!

I also don't have a handy DH, I have a handy BIL and they have a handy (electrician) uncle and a contractor cousin. Together they're all a great help!

I have pictures of the uncle electrician redoing some old wire with new wire, but those aren't terribly exciting.

My kitchen/dining room rehab....it's been a year and a half and I still love it!

Rink-- great pictures. I love the bathroom.

We re-did the master bath and put swanstone in the shower (and sink) instead of tile. I love not having the grout lines to clean!

Great kitchen Bill! Our kitchen could use some work, but that is a little ways down the road. We are going to finish up the doors (all that are left are closet doors) and then we want to maybe finish the basement. We are just kind of waiting on the basement until DH finishes his Masters so he will have more time. He is almost done though.

OOOhhhh I love before and after pics! We bought a home in the historic district to restore. What a mess it was but we love it. I'll only post a few pics so I don't get out of hand ~grin~

Binny, I love the remodel you did, but I have to admit I sorta liked the kitch of the kitchen before.

Bill, Love the new kitchen. Especially the open to the family room area. Great job.

We have a project going on now...we are almost done with the family room and downstairs bath (no great pics yet...we are almost done grouting the shower). It has taken a long time since we did alot ourselves.

Fireplace and family room before/during tear down (walls were wood panel):

After (still need to get blinds, decor and wall hangings):

We had the fireplace replaced with a gas insert, stone veneer and DH and I made the mantle. The white balls throughout the room are surround sound speakers...DH wired the entire family and outside.

We are in the middle of redoing our kitchen right now - we had to tear walls and ceilings down for this - I should be done by next week and I will work on putting up some before, during and after pics then for everyone.
I love what I am seeing so far though.
