Reminding all General Hospital fans to watch the funeralof Lila Quartermaine tomorrow

I don't follow the General Hospital thread and I'm thinking maybe others don't either. If however you're at all interested in watching the Lila Quartermaine funeral, it's on tomorrow. I think they have plans of running it the 15th and the 16th, but if that's wrong, would someone please correct me. I read that they actually had her death on the show today the 14th. I didn't think about it, so I didn't watch. It sounds like it had some real tear jerking moments though. Anyway, just a heads up for those who are interested.

Its funny how attached you get to a character, isnt it? I happened to catch parts of it and they showed some clips of Lila with different characters over the years. It was a nice tribute.

I believe the main part of the funeral is the 16th, but they will also have stuff today (the 15th).

Jenn Lynn is correct. I 'bookmarked' today for my Mom & I, who haven't watched in 10+ years, so that we could watch together. From what I gather, her death was just being circulated as happening Tuesday night, peacefully, in her sleep. We did see some oldies, altho they're probably regulars, and they mentioned that Robin was flying in for the funeral. Little Robin, remember her? Anna & Scorpio's DD I believe. (I should check the OFFICIAL GH thread tho) My only question was, WHAT did Robin (and Robert & Anna for that matter) have to do with Lila??

Mom & I kinda joked that ALL the kids in Port Charles seem to be Lila's grandkid or great-grandkid! We kept trying to figure out the true blood-line of the Quartermaine's (sp?-it's been a while since I watched)

It was fun tho today! Alan, Monica, Tracy, Heather, Bobbie...some of MY originals! I'll have to tape Friday tho.

Lila.. dear, sweet Lila.. strong, tough as nails Lila!

On GH Lila died on Tuesday early am... her last words were to Edward as he said good night.. "I love You"
and she drifted off to heaven as she slept in the Q mansion.

All in Port Chuck have been touched deeply by Lila's passing.
The actors who have been around GH for a while have all loved Anna Lee.... and it shows in their performances this week.

The funeral for Lila Quartermain is to be held on Friday, July 16th.
Many actors are to be returning for the funeral. Robin Scorpio is one of them.. She has been in France...she should be a doctor by now.

For those of you returning to GH for the funeral, you will see some new faces portraying old character... HOWEVER, Robin Mattson has just blown into town this month to portray the mentally twisted Heather Webber.... an oldie but a goodie!

I have been crying for the past three days since Lila passed. The storyline is very touching. So bring your hankies with you tomorrow as you watch GH.

and to Anna Lee... we sure miss you!

Aha! So she WAS a newbie/oldie! I wasn't sure. I can't say what Mom & I had to say about her un-Hollywood look, except to say she hasn't had the benefit of a good make-up job/face-lift during her off-time.

Who else is coming for the funeral? Again, I need to check the OFFICIAL thread! And, I need to tape Friday's show. Fun to see the oldies but goodies!

And yes, Anna Lee, a woman of HIGH GRACE and DIGNITY, is missed.

Wasnt Robin involved with Jason (Lilas grandson) at one point? Im not sure because that was during the time I stopped watching(had to work, LOL), but I think I remember hearing that.

Robin and Jason were dating for quite a while I think, I think he was her first relationship after Stone died and she realized she was HIV positive. But she was the one who told AJ that he was really Michael's father, Jason was keeping it a secret and she didn't like that. She thought he should know the truth. Robin and Jason broke up after that.

The new Edward is only about 25 years younger than Anna Lee was! That recast was a big mistake.
