Remember the Ghostbusters Attraction/Show?

I've been going to Orlando every year since 2001, and before that it was back in 1996. That was my first ever Universal experience and I remember seeing that Ghostbusters show. This was the one replaced by Twister, right? Anyways, I recall having enjoyed that show very much and wanted to know if any of you felt the same way about it. I'm just glad I got to experience it at least once.

I was lucky enuf to see it in 92.....but I thought Twister was there in 92 and you're telling me Twister replaced GB??? I'm confused?

There was a Ghostbusters show when Universal first opened. Shortly after, the show & preshow were changed to include more Ghostbusters II characters-and was a better show, IMO.

Twister replaced the GB show in 1997(98?), but a few years later, the "Extreme Ghostbusters" were created. It was a Saturday Morning cartoon show that didn;t do very well. However, a street show was made of it and lasted until recently.

I remember the old Ghostbuster indoor show. seems like it was some sort of 3-D film. I hated to see it go. I also remember the Ghostbuster guys actually looked like the actors in the movies, not the pretty boys who replaced them with their outdoor dancing show. Ghostbusters --> females-->

I will truly miss the outdoor dancings guys as you called it. It was one fabulous show!! Truly a highlight and I wish they'd bring it back.

We loved those dancers. We finally got to see it last year and was looking forward to see it again in March only to learn their gone

I have great memories of the original Ghostbusters show. I actually got picked to be a Ghostbuster in the pre-show, not once, but twice! Somewhere in our family photo albums there are pictures of me in full Ghostbuster gear, shooting my Ghostbuster gun. I miss that show. Plus, you actually got to sit down for the show unlike Twister.

I remember that pre-show very well. My DD was also picked and was put in ghostbuster gear and given a gun that shot water out into the crowd. I have it all on video, and you can hear some kid in the back ground (whom she must have blasted) yelling butt head!

I had no idea they were gone but, at least we still have Off Kilter over at EPCOT.

Twister wasn't there in 92... seems like it opened around 97 or 98.
