I've been back for about a month now. We had the most amazing trip. But about a week after we got back I got sick, then my daughter, then my husband and just last week, me again. Ugh.

Thanks to all the wonderful advice I got from these boards our trip was wonderful. I had no idea that it was possible to have a vacation without one problem after another. We left on Friday night around 5:30 and drove straight thru and got to Disney around 10:30 am Saturday morning. The drive was so easy, we got there faster than we expected. We went to the marketplace for about an hour but we were tired so we decided to go to the hotel and try to get to our room early. Imagine our surprise when we went to check in and found our room was ready at 11:30 am. When we pulled into the Lodge I swear the sight of it brought tears to my eyes. I have to say that I found the best concierge perk to be not having to stand in line to check in. Everyone was so nice I just couldn't get over it. Sue, in the lounge was awesome. I promise to post more about our magical trip over Christmas break later. I just wanted to let everyone know that I didn't fall off the face of the earth.

So nice to see you back, Jennifer, and so glad you did go after wondering if you should. AKL is super!!!!! Some day I must stay there, I have heard so many good things about it.
