Is there a CD that only has the music from Remember...Dreams Come True? Or would I have to buy the 2 disc Disneyland CD in order to get this music? I have never been to Disneyland but saw a video of this show and fell in love with it. It has made me really want to go to Disneyland soon. Thank you in advance.

I couldn't listen to it in the car---crying makes it tough to change lanes!!!

But did you buy just a CD of this fireworks show or the whole 2 cd set???

Becky

Buy the 2 CD set. It is worth it. I listen to it all the time. Just skip past the tracks you do not like. The Remember track is like 18 minutes long. It can last almost your entire drive to work, depending on how long your commute is :flower: I love both disks and have enjoyed many hours of pleasure from them. One of the best investments I have made, honest!

So how much does the 2 cd set cost? Also does Disneyland have a merchandise number like Walt Disney World does? If so what is it? Also does anyone know how much the shipping is?

Is the remember..dreams come true on the 6 cd set? Is it worth it to get the 2 disc set if I plan on getting the 6cd set? Does anyone have both?

Boy I'm full of questions tonight. Thank you in advance.

I have both. "Remember...Dreams Come True" is on the 6 cd set as well as the 2 cd set. But if you like the LeAnn Rimes song "Remember When", it's only on the 2 cd set! That's the main reason I bought the 2 cd set. Otherwise, everything else (I'm pretty sure) that's on the 2 cd set is on the 6 cd set.

I totally agree, everything that is on the 2 cd set is on the 6 cd set, besides the one LeAnn Rimes song....I compared them once, but do not have both. If it had a more extended version of the Tarzan's treehouse music, I would have gotten the 6 cd set too! My mom and sister said they saw it at Costco now!

I LOVE that fireworks show, and don't blame you for falling in love with it! I get goosebumps just hearing it, especially the beginning ---so worth it to have the music!

Thank you everyone for your help, I greatly appreciate it. Since I already have the WDW 2 cd set with the LeAnn Rime's song on it, I will just buy the 6 cd set the next time I am at Sam's club. I saw it the last time I was there, just didn't pick it up.

Thanks again,
Becky

OK, I need a little help for the slow and clueless. . . which CD sets are we talking about here? DisneyShopping.com has this one:
''A Musical History of Disneyland'' 50th Anniv. CD Box Set, Special Edition
$124.99 But I'm thinking "Holy crap! A hundred twenty-five dollars!" :earseek:

and this one:

''Disney's Happiest Celebration On Earth'' CD $18.99
Which I'm thinking is a little more reasonable, even if it's only a couple of CDs rather than six. ;)

Am I on the right page here? What's the set at Sam's?

Thanks, y'all--

The $124.99 set has 6 cds that include music from the attractions at DL, complete soundtracks (the entire show) of past and current attractions like The Carousel of Progress, Flight to the Moon, Submarine Voyage, America Sings, Mr. Lincoln, The Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, etc., a complete recording of one of the original Golden Horseshoe shoes (w/Sluefoot Sue, the Irish tenor, the comedian's routines--THAT really brought back some great memories for me!). It also includes a really nice hardcover book called The Sounds of Disneyland that gives a detailed history of the park and its music. Plus, mine came w/a vinyl LP called Walt Disney Takes You To Disneyland--a Musical Tour of the Magic Kingdom (which I haven't even opened).

When I cruised on the Magic last June, I got to meet a woman named Stacia Martin (who is a longtime Disney artist and historian and who wrote the text of the book) when she gave some talks and cartooning demonstrations. She is a delightful lady and gave a great presentation. I'd already ordered my set, but hadn't received it. She was nice enough to sign a piece of paper for me that I now have taped inside the front cover of my book!

Is it worth the money? To me it was, as I'm 56 years old and have been going to DL since it opened. I have many wonderful memories of time spent there during my childhood in the 50s and 60s, with my family and I love listening to the soundtracks of those attractions that are no longer there. In fact, my sister & I listened to some of them as we drove to DL in August for our 4 day "girls' trip".

If you don't care that much about having the soundtracks of the attractions, but would like the main songs, then the 2 cd set is good. Plus, it has the LeAnn Rimes song "Remember When" which for some reason (most likely related to squeezing more $$ out of suckers like me!) was not included in the larger set. :rotfl:

The set at Sam's and Costco is the 6 cd set that Disney has been selling for a lot more. I am not sure if it has the vinyl lp and the book or not. At Sam's it is somewhere between $60-$70, I am not sure of the exact amount.

I saw this thread and went to Costco yesterday and got the 6cd set for $64.99. It includes the book and everything. We leave in just over a month and really have the "can't wait's" after listening to it!!

Is the 2-CD set available at the park? The 6-CD set is a bit too rich for my blood, but I'd love to have the smaller set!

I bought the six disk set with the "golden" LP when they first came out. I actually ordered 2 of them and nothing every came of the first set that I called and ordered. :confused3 . I called to verify the order the next day and they said that I must have gotten overflow and it would be in their system by the end of the day. I said to heck with that and ordered a second set online. And I am glad I did. I love them.

The "Remember" track is my favorite by far, it as a little bit of everything.

It was in August--that's when I bought mine.

Just to be clear - The LeAnn Rimes rendition of "Remember, Dreams Come True" is NOT on the 6 CD set, but everything else you can possible imagine is!

Does anyone know if LeAnn's version is available on a single anywhere?

Is it in the media section where they sell CDs, DVDs, and video games? I went yesterday and looked in the CD area, but couldn't find it. Either I'm blind or looking in the wrong area.

I think the 2-cd set is about $25 at the park. The 6 cd set was in a box that looks like it would hold a record but it is deeper. It is a maroon like color. At Sam's it was totally mixed in with everything else. If I wouldn't have known what it looked like I wouldn't have even noticed it.
