The little puke got a 100!

I kid you not.

She claimed she read the paper, but didnt bring it home...I was under the belief that I would let her do the work herself and explain to the teacher that she seemed to have forgotten the instructions (day after day).

I did help her take the black paper and cover the shoe box, as she just couldnt get that on her own. Everything else she did. She picked the scene from the book (which of course she didnt bring home EITHER) and picked out all of the items to go in the box...

and she got a 100

ugh! so much for me teaching her a lesson!

Sounds like something that happened to us. My son had to do one also. Waited till the last min, so I refused to go over it with him. My husband did. Gets back his grade is not even passing. Got what he deserved I thought. SOme time goes by my son comes home and says miss. J says I am getting a better grade because she saw I did my work. How could that happen I ask. I find out he did the work then pasted it on the box. When the paste dried and the paper started to pull away fromn the box and lo and behold there is the work that should have been seen on the out side of the box. The teacher gave him a better grade. I talked to her and she told me it must have been her directions that where bad. I say if 19 of 20 children understood why does he deserve the points? She insisted. What do you think about that?
