Remember Corking?

Hi. Just bought a medium size corking (thing). Can make hats or scarves. I did the first round. Now what? Do you have to go around each peg and loop it up over? I have been just putting the yarn infront of the peg and looping the bottom yarn up over, and it has been working fine. I heard a lady say that she sat down a couple of nights and made four scarves.
