Reliance Home Comfort Overpayment

I was checking my bank statement yesterday and noticed that two payments from Reliance Home Comfort were coming off my bank account via pre-authorized withdrawls that was a payment for a rented water heater. One was $27.58 and the other was for $12.60. I never really noticed this before so I called Reliance and asked them what the $12.60 payment was for since I never got a bill/statement for it. After some checking, the person at Reliance said that I was getting charged for a furnace protection plan which she told me that I never signed up for and did not know why I was paying for it. After some investigation, she told me that I have been paying for it since...........................May 1999. She told me that I will get my money all back. I hope that they throw in some interest money also. Always check your bank statements, even for small amounts. I cant believe that I let this slip by.

Ummm, wow since 1999??? I hope you can go on a nice vacation with that refund cheque when you get it

A few months ago we had our debit cards comprimised and *someone* managed to get 2000 out of our account over 2 days - since then I check my bank account every few days just to make sure everything is ok!!
