Release of new Disney Movie while at sea

Dr. Strange was showed in Dolby 3D at 10:30 on Thursday evening November 3 on the Magic. The movie was released on Friday the 4th.

I was just coming here to say this. It was shown in the WDT at 10:30 pm and in the BVT at 11:00 pm on 11/3.

Dr. Strange was shown then again during the day on it's release day & again at night. My guess is if you want to see a movie it isn't that tough.... just get your seat early.

Do they only show the new movie at midnight or will they do it during the day on release day for the kids? My 4 year old wouldn't make it through a midnight movie, nor would I more than likely. Moana will come out next week while we are sailing on the Wonder.

They will show it multiple times on the day of release. The midnight showing is just for people wanting to see it as soon as possible.

They will show it the day after for sure. It won't be on the Navigator when you get on the boat though, they will change it after the premear occurs.

One thing that really annoyed me on one of our Fantasy cruises is that we went the week AFTER The Avengers was released, I was expecting them to have it in the Theaters right away, but they held it until Thursday as a special event.

I'm still annoyed about that :)

Beauty and the Beast comes out on Friday, the day we debark from the Dream in March. Fingers crossed they show it earlier Thursday evening! I'm the only one in my family who wants to see it.
