Relax- plan ahead and you will get the ADRs you want!

Before I hit the 90 day mark for my vacation I was sweating bullets that I wouldn't get the ADRs I needed for my family. I kept reading thread after thread about people not able to make the reservations they wanted to make their vacation truly magical.

I'm staying off property and therefore had to call every day this week to make my ADRs and I got them all at the times that I wanted. We are a large party of 9 (6 adults and 3 children). At first I was calling in at 6:59 every morning trying to make sure I got the exact times that I needed and after the 3rd day of calling I realized I could start sleeping in and call a bit later (around 8:30 or so) and I never had to wait longer than 3 or 4 minutes on hold.

Our goal was to start almost every day off with an early charachter breakfast on a non-EMH morning for that particular park. Here's what I got for the week of July 12th:

Sci-Fi 8:30pm (we just wanted milkshakes for dessert)
Crystal Palace 8:15am (2 different days)
Tusker House 8:15am (2 different days)
Ohana 7:30am
Biergarten 1pm
Garden View Tea 2pm (2 different days)

Now that my ADRs are done, here's some pixie dust for those of you who are about to hit the 90 day ADR mark

Congratulations! We, too, had no problem about 25 days out, and I even made a change last week.

I admit I'm bewildered when I hear of these horrific wait times with Disney Dining, less popular restaurants not being available, etc. We've never had any issues. Ever. EVER. So I guess a lot of it depends on just pure blind luck.

Or pixie dust, more likely.
