Reinstating mousekeeping on arrival?

So at first we decided we would forego mousekeeping and get the gift card. Then, on our three day drive down to Florida, we changed our mind. I changed it back a couple of days ago in the online check-in, but I still got the gift card in my email this morning, so clearly I didn't change it early enough. Will they be able to cancel the gift card at check-in? Or could we just pay them back the $50? I don't want to make a fuss about it and start our vacation out that way.

Why would you need to make a fuss? Go to the front desk and ask when you get there. If they can they will. If they can't then move on.

I think it says in the info on the program that they will just add the cost to your incidentals...but I agree, it wouldn't be making a fuss if you ask at check-in.

Well, I wouldn't. My husband comes across as mad about things when he's trying to get something, lol. And I'm the exact opposite, where I wouldn't even ask for anything and I'd just accept how it is.
