Hello all!

I was just wondering when the rehearsal times are? I don't know if it matters, but we are getting married in the WP.

The reason I am asking is because we have to plan the dinner 180 in advance...will we know when the rehearsal is at that time???

I just read the ohana dinner time thread and it said 5 or 9. Well I would definitely want the 5 but how can we plan for it without the time for the rehearsal.....see where I am coming from...hopefully this won't be a big deal.

You can tentatively schedule your rehearsal around your dinner plans...if the WP is not available the will move you to the GF convention rooms anyway....and don’t worry about not being actually in the WP...the planners know them by heart...

We laughed so hard when our planner was explaining the outlet on the floor and the fourth flower from the last step...

Good Evening I have two questions..

First off -- for those of you that have had rehearsals (either at WP or GFBallroom) how long did the rehearsal last???

Also in regard to the Ohana's reservations -- if the second seating is @ 9pm and the resturant closes at 10, do they kick you out right at ten or do they let you finish up???

Thanks so much and hopefully you can help me... :yay: :yay:

Our planner said to make a reservation and they'd plan the rehearsal around it. We actually were able to move our rehearsal to another time when I reminded my planner that she'd moved our rehearsal lunch to a dinner for us.

And, that reminds me - if you're doing a custom (which is the only way you get a rehearsal anyway) then your planner can make your dinner reservation for you so that you dont' have to wait and call at 180 days - they put in the request a week or two before then so you don't get booked out if you call late.

At O'Hana's - we at there last year at 9 and didn't leave until about 10:15, and there were still others in there - not sure when they start "moving peopel out" but it wasn't right at 10 by any means.

OH - our planner said the rehearsal would be 20 minutes

the times are the same as the ceremony times - if there's an open time the day you want to rehearse, you can go then. If not you're in another location whenever they can find time. And they won't tell you when or where until about a month before the wedding.

Does anyone know where the "backup" location for a Yacht Club Gazebo rehearsal is? I see that for the WP you may be in a GF convention center room so I'm assuming at YCG, you'd use a YC convention center room. Is that right??

Also, are there any types of food minimums for Ohana if you have your wedding planner book the reservation? Or do you just pay the flat per person price? Thanks!
