With your last trip to DL do you have any regrets of things you would have like to have done but didn't? Places you wish you would have eatting and didn't? What one thing do you wish you had done differently if you could do it again?

I wish we would have done a tour.

Wish we would have stayed on Harbor last trip. Our hotel was too far away.

Wish I would have tried a Dole Whip.

Wish we would have seen Mickey climb the matterhorn, but we have no control over that!

Wish we would have seen the Incredibles characters (again, no control!)

Other then those, we had great trips! :thumbsup2
We ate great.
We saw all the shows.
We went on all the rides, some a few times.

:goofy:

After watching Mickey climb the Matterhorn, I would have gone on some rides (especially Indiana Jones & Space Mountain) while waiting from my mom, sister and her boyfriend to arrive from the airport.

Had a turkey leg & corn dog. Usually have one each trip, but didn't eat either this past trip.

Stayed until closing each night.

Not buy the box set of WDW & DL DVDs, not worth the money.

I only have 2 regrets about my trip to DL:

1. I wish I would have stayed at the HoJO instead of the Crowne Plaza (Had a VERY bad experience there)
2. I wish I would have tried to get tickets to the Fantasmic dessert buffet...I will definately do this next time!

Wish we had seen... Disneyland..The First 50 Magical Years .. total spaced it. That and a few other things....Too many to list :guilty:

I wish we had seen the Aladdin show at DCA (two trips with it playing and both times we didn't make it a priority) I wish we did Turtle Talk and I wish we had one more day so we could've seen more of DTD instead of rushing through.

everyday I went to the park telling myself I had to go to bengal and I never got there...each time I remembered and went over there, either they had a line 2 hours long or they were closed...hmph

I see on your ticker you're going back to DL soon. DOn't miss the Bengal BBQ this time. I read on another board it will be closing later this year. This could be a rumor, but you don't want to miss out!

Wish we had eaten lunch in DCA rather than DL. We waited until our last day to head over to Pacific Wharf for lunch and it was DESERTED. I'm talking we were the ONLY people over there at 11:45 am. Walked right up to both Cucina Cucamonga (sp?) and Pacific Wharf Cafe, ordered and were eating within five minutes. Obviously, there were plenty of tables available. DCA had better (in our opinions, of course) choices.

Happy planning!

We had a wonderful trip, 6 full days in the parks! And yet somehow, we missed the following:

Aladdin show, we have seen it many times but wish we would have seen it again.

Tiki Room, after seeing the one at WDW, wished we would have made time to see the original we love so much more.

Two favorites beyond our control but that we missed terribly, the Snow White show and the Electrical Parade. I knew they were gone but not seeing them was really tough!

Turtle Talk with Crush. We have missed this now in both Disneyland and WDW. Don't ask me why, since we all want to see it :confused3 .

Other than that with six full days we managed to see pretty much everything multiple times. Can't wait to go back in June!

We were there for 4 weeks on our last visit (August 2004) and my only regret is that it wasn't longer!!!!
I do regret going to WDW last year instead of Disneyland, though Discovery Cove was a great day.

Alas the rumor is reality...they are closing it down when they are redoing river belle :sad2:

Can I ask what the Bengal BBQ is please?

It is a "stand" kind of restaurant in Adventureland that sells meat and vegeatable skewers. Overpriced, but very tasty and healthy.

I personally am very excited about the river belle terrace renovation. I would expect to see a new "hard ticket" option to view Fantasmic from the new second story.

with the letters in California over at California Adventure. It would have only taken a second. My son mentioned it before we left and when we got back...but not while we were there.

I wish we'd have e-mailed ourselves ALL our Buzz Light year photos.

I wish I'd have gotten my picture taken with Woody...every time we saw him he was on his way to a break and couldn't stop. Sigh.

I wish we wouldn't have wasted our EE morning! We got a late start, then stood in line for Buzz, which went down repeatedly!

We were there for 6 days in September....We pretty much did everything because my mom and sister, and my cousin and her family were there with us, and I wanted to make it really special for them. But the things that I wished we would have done or done different:

1. I also missed the Disneyland, the First Magical 50 years...I do not know how, but we did. Even if the others did not see it, I should have found time....

2. Half our party just wanted 5 days at Disneyland, and took a day to go over to Knott's. I reluctantly went along instead of staying with my cousin and her family who went another day at Disneyland without us. I not only regretted it the whole time, but did not get a single thing out of Knott's. Everything that I had loved, or was looking forward to, was gone, or shut down.....And I am not a thriller roller coaster rider, so that was a HUGE disappointment. Should have gone another day at Disneyland with whoever wanted to stay with me!

And I wish that Electrical parade was going on, and California Screamin was open....but those were totally out of my control...

That's it! We did EVERYTHING else, including Fantasmic Balcony. It was the best trip ever for all of us! :wizard:

We also discovered all the restaurants at DCA too late in our trip. Next time we'll check it out for sure. Oh, and we never did get one of those Mickey ice cream treats! I also regret booking my trip right before the 50th aniversary. Space Mountaind AND Splash Mountain were both closed

We were there last week (a week ago tonight I was trying to finish up packing....wish I was doing it again! sigh...)

I regret not buying the 50th Anniversary Barbie for DD's collection (then & now)-- but I know I can call and order it.

Also regret not getting to Bengal BBQ (ate fried chicken strips 2 days....atleast 1 day too many!) We DID make it to have our first (and second and third...) Dole Whips (yum!)

We were able to ride everything at MK and just about everything at DCA...so no ride regrets! We saw Aladdin and the Hillbilly show so no show regrets....
BUT we were there Monday through Thursday and I regret not staying until Friday (I figured DD could get back and take any tests that needed taken and be ready to start fresh Monday....her teachers didn't give her the tests. Had I known we would have stayed another day!)

We would never go on or near a holiday or at other peak attendance times. We went the day after Thanksgiving last Nov. and it was miserable -- so crowded we couldn't enjoy it. It was a waste of time and money, IMO.
