I think the new redesigned rooms are a game changer for SSR. The old green was not a flattering color. I was OK with it, but it wasn’t appealing to the eye. With the 5th bed in 1 bedrooms is what they needed. I’m glad they didn’t put them in a studio. Can’t wait to stay in a new room there. Looks like our fall trip we will be at SSR.
All preferred rooms have been completed for a while now. They are working on the last section of standard rooms.
So the studios still have the pull-out sofa?
Refurbished studios have a pull down Murphy bed over the couch.
Yes. The refurbished 1 bedrooms sleep 5. Don’t forget the trundle bed under the TV in the living room is a little smaller than a twin sized mattress.
Do you happen to know what section that is by any chance?
It's directly across from DS, just down the Sassagoula River from OKW. Port Orleans is a little further up the river from OKW. So if when you stayed at Port Orleans you took the boat to DS (may have been Downtown Disney then), you passed OKW and SSR on the way there. CBR is farther away and not on the river but is "sort of" in the same area in the sense that it's fairly close to DS.
I thought I heard that the Brazilian Cheerleading convention had the resort booked for those dates.
