Refunding Ticket?

Just a quick question, will Disney refund a Ticket if it hasn't been used? I bought my uncle a ticket for Mickey's Halloween Part for the 18th (electronic) and now he's not going. What are my options? Thanks

They are non-returnable, non-refundable. My brother wanted to return his for some reason, but Disney told him no.

Harsh. Is it transferable? Can they sell it on Ebay or something?

I'd call. I've heard of people being able to do it, but in those cases they returned all tickets bought together or had to switch nights. I've been able to get a refund on an e ticket when I purchased the wrong number of days.

You're not supposed to sell unused tickets either. It is very clearly printed on the ticket that the are not for re-sale and not transferable.

OK. Good to know. I'm so untrusting that I would never buy my tickets from anyplace other than an official authorized retailer anyway, and I don't sell anything on eBay or any other way so I admit I didn't really know how that stuff worked.

In the case of my brother, he ended up just sticking with the original night instead of changing plans when he found out he couldn't get a refund. Yes, in his case, he was not allowed to make any return or change even for a different night with the same number of tickets.

Although the tickets say non-refundable, I got a refund for one of my tickets. I bought tickets for 10/3, thinking that it was a Tuesday, in fact it was a Monday and one member couldn't make it. I explained in an email the confusion that I thought all parties were on Tuesdays and Fridays. I provided my ticket number and confirmation number. About a week later, I received an email stating that they will refund me for that unused ticket. Note, I sent the email to them, prior to the 10/3 date. All the CM's in Disneys City Hall told me that there were no parties on 10/3. One told me that it's a misprint and that the party is on 10/4. The manager straightened them all out, but said that this needs to be taken care online and they can't do anything about it.
