Refunded the wrong credit card?

Hey guys, thought this might be a good forum to ask this question.

I ordered some school uniform shorts through Walmart.com. They came last week and didn't fit. I took them back to my local Walmart and realized the packing slip didn't say how I paid for them. I was pretty sure I had used my Disney Visa, and the clerk took my card and refunded it. However, when I got home, I realized I had actually paid for them with Paypal, which is connected to my bank account. Silly mistake on my part.

This was just yesterday, so that may be why the refund isn't showing as pending. But has anyone ever does this by mistake before? I hope the refund isn't denied by Visa.

When I have made returns at walmart it took several days for it show up on my credit card. I have also had a return made to a credit card that I had already paid my balance off on and they accepted the return and then sent me a check the next billing cycle because I did not have a balance.
I would assume that your card will take the return with no problem, but I would hang on to the receipt that you got from the return just in case.

I did this once at a party supply store. It just showed up as a credit on my credit card account a few days later. Just keep an eye on your account and keep your receipt. It should be fine though.
