refrigerators at CBR???

do the rooms at CBR have mini-bars in them. if so, are you able to fit anything else. or does anyone know if you can get your own mini-fridge for the duration of your stay through the hotel?

You can rent them for $10 each day. We stayed two weeks so we went to the Sears store and bought one for $89.00 and took it home with us. Worked out great. You can also fill a cooler at ice machine every couple of days which is a cheap alternative. We drink lots of water so we bought it at Goodings and kept it cold in fridge. You do know about the closing of the CBR, right. September something into December. (Just thought I'd ask!) We love the CBR. Have stayed there every October for 8 years. Have a wonderful time.

The rooms at CBR do not have mini bars or fridges, but I understand you can rent a fridges. They used to be included as a standard part of the room, but this was discontinued 3 or 4 years ago.

thanks for the info. i have not been to disney in almost 10 years. last time we went, CBR is where we stayed and we loved it, so we figured if it ain't broke, don't fix it.....how did you find the bus system? fast enough??? also, do you have preference to a building? and if you request a certain one, will you get it?? any other tibits or helpful hints are greatly appreciated. oh yeah.....and yes i knew they were closing. we aren't going until may.....

We always request the Martinique for its convenience to the food court and main pool area. Building 25 is usually our favorite but 23 and 24 work well also. Definitely stay off the parking lot side as it can get quite noisy with the busses going by til late. We have always gotten our requests honored. We have had a few problems having to be moved due to smoky rooms. What is with these people who smoke in non-smoking rooms and ruin it for the next people? The busses are great. Usually one within 10 minutes although some people complain about waiting up to 20 minutes. All of the buildings have been renovated and look brand new. Sounds like with the major renovation of the Port Royale and pool area that the whole resort will be like new. Actually, the last time we were there we thought the food court was looking a little dingy. Glad to hear they are fixing it up, just wish it wasn't when we planned to be there. There is nothing like seeing the sun set over the lake area at the CBR and catching the Epcot fireworks. We love to sit by the Banana Cabana at night and just hang out. Enjoy it for us, okay.
