Refrig. in GF

Are refrig. in GF complimentary or do you have to pay for them?

I believe, and could be wrong here, but refrigerators are free for medical needs only. Everyone else must pay to rent them. Hope this helps.

We stayed at GF two years ago and had a refrig and microwave due to 18 mo old complimentary. Just a perk for staying at the highest priced disney resort.

I'd have to look at our bill for certain, but I'm pretty sure we *weren't* charged the $10/night for our little refrigerator at the Floridian, like we've been charged at all the other deluxe's we've stayed at. We didn't have a medical need, just someplace to keep the baby's formula cold.

Edit: Of course you are all correct! For our split stay, AKL charged us $10/night but GF gave it to us for free.

Something else that we liked about GF is that instead of an in-room coffee maker they had a really nice coffee service setup in the lobby of our building.

Definitely complimentary....but you have to request one from housekeeping after you check in. They aren't automatically in each room. We were there last June. -HM

ONLY at the GF, fridges are complimentary as well as Rollaways if needed and VCRS. You can request in advance if you like but they are not delivered until after you have checked in by housekeeping. The nice thing about putting it on in advance is if you are going during a busy time. Sometimes they run out.

Our bellboys have always asked if we wanted a fridge at the GF, and they have alway been free!!!

VCRs are only in the concierge building. Other wise you would have to rent one.

We've never paid for anything we've ordered up from housekeeping at the GF. Cribs, bedrails, fridges, microwaves, high chairs, etc. I guess everything is complimentary.

I've never had to pay for a fridge at the Poly either. It might have been a mistake but the 4 times we have stayed there in the last 2 years we were never charged for our fridge. We always stay around 10 days and we never ask for a fridge for medical reasons so it can't be that. It also says my fridge is guaranteed on all my confirmations including the one for my next trip.
