Hi..

Is it difficult to get a frig.. put in our room if my husband needs it due to medical reasons he can only have lactose milk, and eat certain items... do they accomadate this situation.. we have been calling to disney for almost 2 weeks to see if the foodcourt had anything he can eat and dining told us to bring our own food for him... but the parks and other nicer places can easily get him something made.. which is nice...
Anyways... does anyone know anything?

We are staying at All Star Sports & I called WDW 1st to note on our reservation we needed a fridge for medical reasons. No problem but the request had to be made through our TA (AAA) I called them and recv'd a fax confirmation that it has been noted on our reservation. If you booked yourself you can call and do it. I asked if I needed to bring any paperwork re: medical and they said no I was all set. It should be in the room when we check in but I will also ask at the front desk before going to our room as well.

In case you didn't know, all Disney Vacation Club accomodations ALWAYS have either a mini fridge or full fridge depending on the size of the room. Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, BoardWalk Villas, Beach Club Villas, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Vero Beach, and Hilton Head Island. If you stay at one of them, you'll never have to worry.

Moderates and Deluxes also have fridges in them. No charge.

that is something great to know... I had no idea.. we have stayed at mods before but never had one... we actually have stayed at each one of them but its been over 4 years ago on each... we now have a child and we think the movies is much more her speed.. more fun.. with the huge life size characters and such... thanks so much!

When we stayed at WL in July we didn't have a fridge in our room when we got there. We called the front desk right away and they sent one up in about 15 minutes--no charge. So if you are staying at a moderate or deluxe just ask.
