Refilling water bottle at resort

How easy is it at AKL to get refills for one's water bottle? In the past I've gone to the Mara and used the soda machine--for water, not soda--to refill my bottle, but I don't know if this is still available.

When I was at the GF in May you had to ask for water at Gaspy's.

I know it's relatively easy to get water in the parks, but I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth bringing my refillable bottle with me.

The resorts now allow you to access to the beverage dispensers so you can once again refill your water bottles.

We just filled out water bottles from the sink in the room while at AKL. Not as good as a filtered water station, but the water was drinkable and saved us from having to buy water bottles at the park.

E:ven though the tap water at WDW isn't as bad as it used to be, I much prefer the filtered water. It's great that you can now refill everything at the drink stations.

Are there drinking stations throughout the hotel, like hotel floors or at least the lobby? I'm wondering if we need to stock up on jugs of water, but I would hate to buy plastic! My group and I all use reusable water bottles and would like to know what others do!

I can answer only about AKL and GF, where we've had recent stays. The only place to refill your water bottle is at the QS restaurant, using the water part of the soda/drinks machine. It's easy enough to do, and that's what we did. Just refill your bottle in the evening if you're a rope dropper, and/or in the morning.

There are not drinking stations throughout the resorts. Not that I'm aware of, and anyway, you wouldn't want to refill your water bottle at a drinking fountain that didn't have a dedicated water bottle refill area anyway.

It's possible and relatively easy to use only your refillable bottle for your stay. If you drink a lot of water, bring two bottles for every person.
