refillable mugs

if you have refillable mugs from last year can you use them this year?

I would think not. Disney is going to a new system for refills. On the new mugs there is a bar code or a chip in the bottom that the machine reads. And it expires after a certain length of time so the mug will only be good for the amount of time it has been purchased for or the length of visit. Older mugs won't have the chip technology. There are threads on the boards about the new mug system. Hope this helps.
