refillable mugs when on CL

Is it still worth getting refillable mugs when you're staying CL? Seems to me probably not, but whats everyone elses opinion on this?

We never do. There are plenty of beverages throughout the day. We've never needed them.

are there bottles of drinks (water/coke/pepsi/whatever) that you can take away? or are all the lounge beverages to be consumed within the lounge?

We like the mugs as a souvenir, so we purchase them anyway, but no, you really don't need them with CL.
We stayed at AKL CL and they have cans of soda and cartons of milk, but everything else is from a larger bottle or pitcher such as water, juice, etc.
They do have to go cups for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.
We brought back several cans of soda each time we went to the lounge to put in our room refrig. for after the parks close, as the CL pretty much shuts down at late night. (different than I was used to at Poly.)
I think they stopped bottled water quite a while ago since too many of them were taken for the parks, etc.
I did see people filling up empty water bottles with the water there for the parks. I thought this was a little border line!

WL had cans of soda, paper cups for coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and large glass bottles of water that you could put in a paper cup "to go". They didn't have any single use bottles of water to take away. So, we didn't buy refillable mugs.

No, you are free to consume your food & beverages in your room, or where ever you want. The AKL lounge has a wonderful homemade lemonade and African Smoothie during the day as well. They have paper cups w/ lids to take beverages with you. I LOVED taking b/fast back to the room and eating on the balacony while watching the animals.
