Refillable Mugs - Now What?

OK, I am a good sport and a rule follower and always buy a new refillable mug on each trip. If I change resorts, I buy a new mug. Needless to say, I have a dozen or more at home now. I never use them as regular drinking glasses - I either have a styrofoam Sonic going or I use another set of glasses that I like. I don't want to store them anymore - I'm cleaning out my kitchen and I need the space on that shelf. I don't want to sell them in a yard sale or on Ebay becaue I don't want to enable anyone else to misuse them. Do I sneak them out in the dead of night and bury them in my trash?? Do I melt the bottom and poke a hole in it?? Help - I'm being overrun with mugs!!!!

Do you have any kids you could give them to? Nephews, nieces, neighbors? I like to use them for drinks in the car because I don't have to worry about spilling.

I toss them. I had 25 from the Poly, 6 from CBR, 3 from WL. I kept two from each resort as souveniers. I gave DD a couple to use in her sandbox and another for her play kitchen. The rest I tossed in the trash.

You can't bury them in the trash because someone still may find them and reuse.

Do you have a green thumb? Maybe use them as planters. I guess you'd still have to poke a hole in the bottom and still preventing anyone from using them with evil intentions. See, THIS is why they should make them puppies good forever. lol To save us cabinet space.

Please donate them to a daycare. They need STURDY cups to play with in the sandbox. Ones that won't split and become sharp if a small child sits on them. These would be perfect for using to build sandcastles.

We're using one as a scoop for cat litter (that'll make folks think twice about trying to reuse it! )

We typically use them and put them through the dishwasher until the logo starts fading badly, and then we ditch them and buy more.

We never stay onsite, except for one year we stayed at the All Stars, so we never get refillable mugs. I use our All Stars all the time at work and I have a Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach that I use also. I've seen the refillable mugs at the resorts and would like to buy one, but I can't see spending that kind of $$$ to use it once.

Since I dont have an antenna anymore I took one of my mugs and filled it with a bouquet of antenna toppers!
