Refillable Mug Q

Last September we bought 2 refillable mugs. We are heading down again this September & wondering if we can use them again? My cousin seems to think you can.

Also does anyone know if they've changed since last year?

The mugs are supposed to be used only for the length of stay of the trip on which you bought them.

However, MANY people do reuse them, some reuse even older mugs bought from previous years with different Disney designs and some people use any old mug or water bottle that they wish too! It has been my observation that the CM's do not really police that.

So.....you have to do what you feel is best for your family and let your conscience (sp?) be your guide on that. But bottom line, the answer is "no", you are not supposed to be reusing them.

I didn't think you were. Really we didn't use them that much since you got a drink with each meal you got anyways & we were on FD so we always had a drink. The only thing we did use them for was coffee in the morning but the coffee was free anyways in your room if you made your own pot.

We normally like to pick up a new pair of refillable mugs each trip, it's something nice to collect. However since the current mugs are exactly the same as the ones we got last October, I wouldn't be surprised if ours make a 2nd trip down this time. Update the mugs, Disney, and you'll get another $30 from us!

I have often said that they should offer an option where you can buy a sticker to reuse your mugs like they do at the water parks. There you pay $6 and can get a sticker for the day. A friend however told me that the stickers are not date but day validated. So if you where there on a Monday 2 years ago and you go on a Monday this week, the bar code will work. I often wondered why some people had stickers all over their mugs! I always put one on top of the other.
