Refillable Character Cups in MK

We got our son one of those "top heavy" Buzz Lightyear in the pass-through gift shop coming off the ride when we were in LA at Disney Land. I know some people mentioned being able to refill water bottles in MK, but I wanted to know about other drinks in that cup besides water. We also purchased some of those recyclable aluminum water containers and wanted to know if those were acceptable to bring in and refill with water.
Also, what will the counter service locations refill? Character cups, regular Coke-decal cups, water bottles, etc.?

The 4 main parks at WDW don't have a refillable cups program. You can ask for water at the CS places.

I think Typhoon Lagoon has/has a refill program.

You can buy a mug at your resort and refill it with soda at your resort during your stay.

I may be wrong, but doesn't AK have a big animal headed cup that you can refill with a soft drink for a small price?

You can bring in bottles to fill at the drinking fountains, or any counter that has ice and water for free. You can also just ask for a courtesy cup of ice water for free.
