Refiillable resort mugs in the microwave (mw safe plastic?) UPDATED!

I put my refillable plastic resort mugs in the microwave every morning to make my tea. DH noticed one in there this morning and suggested that they might not be mw safe. They don't say anything on them about being microwave safe (or dishwasher safe either, for that matter. But I put them in the dishwasher all the time, too.)

Do you put your refillable mugs in the mw?

And, in general, how can you tell if a plastic dish is mw safe if it's not labeled?

Edited to add: It's the fumes DH is concerned about, not the melting.

Yes, I put my WL mug in the nuker all the time. I love a cup of hot tea in the winter. It's so much easier to nuke water for 2 minutes than to drag out the teakettle.

How did I "know"? Well, I didn't. If it would have melted, I just would have thrown the cup away. (I can't use it at WL again, or the DISney police would be after me. )

Yes, but with a little ingenuity, you might be able to use it at the All Stars - they're too busy to notice there.

UPDATE: I did the test in Dan's link (thanks, Dan!), and according to that test my refillable mugs (POR travel mugs from last year) ARE microwave safe. Here's the test: Put the item in question in the microwave along with a separate container of water. Set the mw on high for one minute. If after a minute the water in the other container is hot but the item in question is cold, the item is microwave safe.
