I'm a teacher and have been in my district for 9 years. I had a student a few years ago for two years in a row, and after she graduated, I had her sister. Their family is nothing but nice and they are avid Disney nuts like myself. Anyway, one of the daughter's of this family comes to me once a day because she wants to be a math teacher like I am and she comes to observe. I told her that we had just came home from Disney right before school started and that my husband and I were SERIOUSLY considering a vacation club. She told her parents and now they are getting me any and all information that they can. So, I got a call from my guide yesterday telling me that the price of BLT was going up next week (which we knew) and just telling us to touch base with her (we can't buy just yet-we have one in daycare and want to wait a little bit longer until we buy-like a year or so). Also, she told me that they had added this family as a referral. I thought that was great because they are nothing but nice and really want to help us out. Anyway (if you read this far-sorry so long!), what do they get out of being our referral? Is there anything we get as well? I wasn't home when our guide called and just listened to the message this morning. Thanks!

DVC members who refer someone usually get a gift card.

Sometimes DVC runs promotions that if you have a referral from a current DVC member, you get a price per point reduction. Ask you guide if this applies to you.
