IF YOU HAVE NOT RECIEVED YOUR DOCUMENTS YET?
CALL DISNEY CRUISE LINES AND ASK WHERE THEY ARE
THEIR COMPUTER WILL TELL THEM WHEN THEY WERE SHIPPED OUT. I JUST DID AND MY JULY 3 2004 CRUISE DOCUMENTS WERE SHIPPED UPS ON MAY 17 I WILL HAVE THEM THURSDAY HOPE
THIS HELPS ANYONE WHO HASN'T GOT THEIR DOC'S SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I THOUGHT THIS WAS VERY IMPORTANT

I have been fretting because I still do not have my docs and we cruise in less than 30 days. If we did not book through DCL will they still be able to tell us when they were send out? I booked through AAA and the TA there said that I won't see them until 2 weeks before we leave. It is very upsetting to me that folks who will be cruising after me already have their docs. I'm also upset that we won't know our flight times until 7 to 10 days out!! I am a very impatient traveler!!! This is driving me NUTS!!!!

yes they will we booked through dreams unlimited
and disney even told me that the delivery was set up to go to me and not the travel agent just tell the agent who answers the phone to read the screen carefully to see where they are being sent too and if you booked air with disney that is usually the reason they come 2 weeks prior to your trip hope this helps you and dont panic yet i have heard of the docs arriving 2 days prior

If I have to wait until two days before, I will scream!!!!

I am going to call DCL and ask, since you have told me it is okay to call them directly even though I booked through AAA. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again for your help!!!

be persistant if they tell you they cant give you the info
hang up and call back until you get someone who will help
tell them you know that this was booked through a t/a but all ineed is can you tell me whan you sent the docs outl et me know

I called DCL this morning. First the bad news. The CM (who was very, very nice) said the docs would be sent to AAA and they (AAA) would then in turn mail them out to each cruiser. However since this was a group sell, all the the docs are to be sent out together. Someone in the group has some type of problem with their docs (she could not go into any details, which I fully understand) and all the docs will be held up until the problem is resolved. I told her that was NOT okay with me. Why should I be penalized for someone elses problem, and she said it was beyond her control. I DO understand, it's NOT DCL's fault nor is it AAA's fault. I quess that's just one of the downsides of booking with group sells. The CM, sensing my disappointment, said not to worry, there was no problem with my families docs and if worse came to worse, we could get them when we arrive in FL!! That also is NOT OKAY with me, but what can I do? Ya live, ya learn!! No more saving a few $$ with group sells for me!!

Now the good news (at least to me). The CM was able to give me the flight schedule and the flight numbers plus she gave me the number to call USAir and find out our seat assignments. That is cool!!

What is weird is I called DCL yesterday to find out where my docs were for the June 12 cruise and they said that they hadn't been mailed yet BUT we received them that afternoon by UPS. I hope it was just a mess up with the CM and not the cruise line!

Hey Emmasgrammy - USAIR has bag checkin and will provide you with boarding passes right at the port when you are ready to return home so you don't have to worry about that. Good luck, have a GREAT TRIP.

WOW TheWog, Thanks for the info!! I really needed to hear some GOOD NEWS today! You made me smile! DH will be so happy to not have to lug that luggage anymore than necessary!!That's so cool!! We will have time to enjoy the shops at the airport with no luggage problems!! YEAH!!!

We received our docs yesterday for 7/3, for the stateroom we booked through Dreams Unlimited.

We have not yet seen docs for the stateroom booked through DVC.

Thanks for all the info BMurphy! I called DCL last night. We booked through AAA and our tickets have not been released to "the group" yet. Hope no one getting AAA tickets for that date has screwed up documents! She said usually 3-4 weeks prior, which means 2-3 more weeks to wait. Oh well, I'll be done with work by then so I can concentrate more fully on filling them out and getting started packing!

We booked for the 06/27 Wonder thru DVC (pts. for DS, cash for DH, DD & me). Since I read that others had gotten docs for our date, I called MS. They told me that we wouldn't get our docs until 2 weeks out ; when I asked why when others on the DIS boards already had them, he told me that they wait so they don't have to re-issue them if any changes are made thru MS .

Oh well, I guess we just have to be patient, but it's hard!
