For those of you that use redweek can you give me your opinion. I am on it and just searching around and trying to figure out how worth it is it?

I see ones with red week verified....are those better than the others? Should I trust those more?

Can I trust the other ones too? I also see availability varies...anyone work with those? We won't be doing a traditional sat/sat or sun/sun due to better flights for my mother in law is during the week day.

I am really new to staying off property. Yes I am one of those people that LOVES to be on property but because of the cost I need to go off but still trying to find what will work for our group that is going.

I use it. It is worth it. If I get the rental I am working on now, it will save me at least $300 vs a Disney Value resort. Through Redweek, Tug, and others, I got WBC 1BR Dlx for $560 for 7 nights, Orange Lake 2BR for $759, and if the one goes as planned, a DVC studio for 7 nights.

I have used it for every vacation over the past 5 years and YES, I do believe it is worth it. I have always had a good experience. I got a 7 night stay at Bonnet Creek for only $599 last year during peak season and that is considered a steal. An owner had timeshare points they were going to lose. I don't think you can go wrong. Now I never found out what "Redweek verified" meant but I am sure the info on the website will give details. I think some owners let Redweek handle all of the renting/buying transactions and Redweek collects a fee. It gives owners/renters peace of mind that the transaction is valid. I also use PayPal to pay for my rentals. I do not give anyone my credit card info. I recommend Redweek to all of my friends and associates who are looking to rent timeshares for their vacations. I always tell them its worth the $15 membership fee to ensure they are renting from valid, legitimate owners.

Another site is TUG. I trust the site and would use them to rent and/or buy also. But for me, someone from Redweek always beat the lowest price I received from TUG. But yes, I would use TUG too without hesitation. I am currently looking to rent a 2bedroom at Orange Lake resort in Kissimmee this summer. I am checking TUG and Redweek everyday!!!!

On RedWeek, are you able to suggest a lower price to the renter if it's coming down to the wire on the rental? Is there a way to contact the renter directly (that is, through the site)?

There is a "ask a question" link under each rental. Reach out to the owner and see. I got lower quotes this way. The only ones that I "think" cannot change are the ones Redweek Verified since everything is processed directly though them.

I just booked my December trip privately through an owner on Redweek.
