Hi,

I was wondering how many of you follow the days to go to a certain park on a green day. I have been looking at waiting times and they do not seem to be any difference between the days you are good to go to let's say mk, they wait times has just been as long as the same day they tell you to avoid.

I'm wondering do you stick to this theory, avoid extra magic hours? I have been 8 times now and with the fast passes not lasting the day, it will have an impact on our touring plans.

Thanks everyone.

Having just spent 16 nights out there I can say the crowds were anything but predictable ;)

Getting to the parks early made more of a difference than it being a "best" park.

Early is the key

it doesn't matter what crowd level it is, it's always an *empty* park from opening 'til 11am

Thanks everyone, that's my thoughts too. I was planning to get to the parks for rope drop and my planner has a lot of park hopping, I'm hoping that my plans to get there early will definitely help rather than certain parks on certain days.

Also has anyone experienced early magical hours? Is this a definite no no! Lol.

planning sites will tell you it's a no-no

but planning sites are designed for the general public, including those who do not stay onsite.
So for anyone who don't stay onsite, EMH parks are baaaaad !!! because once they're allowed in, there is already the resort crowd inside ... and lines ...

but for resort guests, it's a perk you need to consider. Maybe not everyday, but at least a few times during your stay.
Be there well before the EMH starts (30 minutes at least) and make the best of the morning.
Be ready to hop by noon and go to a recommanded park (or idle by the pool :) )

After spending all evening doing our weeks food shopping I thought I was still reading slimming worlds green and red days lol!

We tend to follow the plan but still get there early. Dont have much choice with our early riser any way lol! I think the suggested days are just the planner in me taking over. DH said we (more he is kindly saying me) when we go next time if DD asks to go some where we will be going.

EMH are a must in my opinion. We always take advantage of these and manage to get loads done in that hour! We tend to use them to go on the big rides or hop on all the children's rides. On an average EMH morning in MK we can get space mountain done then dumbo, tea cups, carousel probably more than once!! Then we would either head over to splash mountain and thunder for just after general opening time or get in line to see a character! I think they are very useful.

Thank you everyone I might look at our planner again and see what use we can get out of our emh.
