Recs for Sanford/North Orlando Area

We've planned a last minute 3 night trip but are flying into Sanford. This trip will not include park visits (gasp!) so we would like to stay closer to the Sanford airport than driving 45 minutes or more our usual places near Kissimmee. We would prefer a resort hotel or condo. Any suggestions?

Embassy Suites is in Altamonte as is the Hilton.

The Lake Mary area has several nice hotels - a Marriott, a Courtyard, Homewood Suites and a Hilton Garden Inn.
