Recommended Viewing Areas for TDS and TDL Shows andParades

We will be in TDS next Tues and TDL next Wed.

Can anyone recommend good viewing spots for the parades in both parks? We want to see them near their starting points so we can rush to the rides while the parade continues.

At Tokyo Disneyland we took a spot opposite the Tomorrowland Terrace, so you had a full front on view as they came over the bridge. It doesn't meet your criteria of early in the parade, but the photos we got were amazing. I don't think the TDS has a parade, certainly didn't when we were there in January.
