I just made my reservations for next October. I know I have a little while before I make my dining reservations, but I want to start planning NOW! :rotfl: We will be doing the dining plan, which will be for 6 nights. So far, we know we want to eat at the following TS restaurants:
Teppan Edo
Le Cellier
Yak & Yeti
Ohana
Boma (breakfast)
We just need one more. We are toying with the idea of eating at Ohana twice since we love it, but judging from our plans, we would have to eat there two nights in a row. I'm not sure I'd like to do that.

We would like to try a resort restaurant (no park planned that day), probably a moderate or deluxe resort. Any advice?

Since you are doing the dining plan - I'll stick to the one credits. We enjoyed The Wave at the Contemporary as well as Kona at the Poly. If you want to try a character meal, we also enjoy Chef Mickey's.

California Grill, Spoodles, Narcoses, Yachtsmen, Brown Derby

We always do Chef Mickey's, too. We love the characters plus my sons love buffets. We also like the restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge, Whispering Canyon Cafe. Enjoy your trip! Let the countdown begin!!!

You could try the Cape May Clambake at Beach Club. We are trying that in May.

Spoodles was replaced with Kouzzina last summer. Brown Derby is in Disney Studios and is two credits. California Grill, Narcoosee, and Yachtsman are all really good, but are also two credits.

We like Boma, Cape May, the Turf Club, and Kona for one credit resort restaurants. Sanaa at AKL Villas, the Grand Floridian Cafe, and the Wave at the Contemporary are not bad though. How about Olivia's at OKW?

Thanks, everyone, for your replies. I should have probably stated that we have tried Boma and didn't like it. We are trying it for breakfast though. We will be staying at Kidani and it would be nice not to have to leave the resort one night. I'm just afraid if we didn't like Boma, we won't like Sanaa. What do you think?

I should have also mentioned that my family has some shellfish allergies, so any restaurant that is mainly seafood is out of the question.

Also my boys are older so we aren't as interested in character meals.

We've tried Whispering Canyon Cafe. My husband really liked it, but it made me a little sick. We may end up there, but I wanted other suggestions that I might could tempt my husband with. ;)

We also want to use one credit only.

Any other suggestions?

One credit restaurants?

Chef Mickey's or The Wave at CR
Kona Cafe at Poly (but you're already going to the Poly)
Grand Floridian Cafe at GF

Unfortunately you do not want a 2-credit restaurant - most of my highest recommendations would be 2-credit restaurants.

Of the one-credit restaurants I would say Sanaa (although if you did not like Boma you are possibly not adventurous enough to appreciate Sanaa - possibly same thing with Kouzzina, I love the food there but many do not), Turf Club, The Wave, or Captain's Grille.

I would eat at Ohana's every night if I could :) haha It definitely was our favorite. But, we really enjoyed the Cape May Clam Bake as well.

Ohana is definitely our favorite! Last fall was the first time we tried it, and we were wishing we had made reservations for two nights! I don't mind eating there two nights; I just don't know if I want to do it two nights in a row, and that's what it looks like will have to happen with the schedule I'm planning.

Lots of you are saying the Wave. I'll have to check out the menu.

Also we may be at DTD that day. Are there any good table service restaurants there that are on the dining plan for one credit?

Thanks, everyone, for all the suggestions. Keep them coming!

At DTD there are alot of good places but we love Wolf Gang Puck cafe and it is 1 credit....we also love Chef Mickey at the contemporary...have fun we will be there in 11:banana: days :)

We really enjoy Raglan Road in DTD. It is a beautiful restaurant with very good food and fun entertainment.
It makes for a fun evening
Have a Great Trip

I second Raglan Road. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I'm upset I can't fit it into my ADR plans for my next trip.
