Recommended Items at the POP Food Court??

We are staying at POP in May. Thanks for everyone posting their thoughts! Really helpful.

I can't believe no one suggested the meatball sub!! OH my is that thing good.
Best meatballs I have had.........anywhere.
I highly suggest that.

Also mom's night out dinner specials. Those are pretty good to. Not sure what night is what, as it rotates but it is usually Fried Chicken, Turkey and dressing and meatloaf.

The pizza isn't bad, it is pretty good. Many people don't like it, but I think if you order one pick it up and eat it poolside, adds to the "coolness" of being at POP.

Hope you have a wonderful time!

When we were at POP In Dec, DS6 got really sick so we spent 5 or 6 days in the room and ate the majority of our meals at the POP foodcourt. Here is what we had (between DH and I) and what we thought:

Chicken Mediterranean Flatbread - This was fabulous. DH and I actually each had this twice. It has artichoke hearts, red peppers, black olives. Excellent.
Turkey Ciabatta - I love this. The bread is excellent and the sandwich is huge.
Chicken Caesar Salad - This was kind of nasty for me. It was really soggy and drowning in dressing. The chicked was the processed strips (which I don't like anyway).
Asian Chicken Salad - DH had this and liked it a lot.
Cheesesteak Wrap - DH had this twice and both times it was cold and greasy.
Cheeseburger - I had the kids meal and it was excellent. Maybe I was just in the mood for one? But it was hot and fresh and the fries were crispy.
Meatball Sub with Salad - I know a pp loved this...but this was the worst thing I ate all week. The sauce was like tasteless canned tomatoes and the meatballs had a really bad texture and flavor.
Beef and Broccoli - DH had this and thought it was ok.
Nachos Supreme - DH had these twice and loved them.

We all tried the infamous tie-dyed cheesecake. DH liked it, the 2 kids loved it, and I thought it was terrible.:confused3
Everything we had for breakfast (waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pastries and breakfast platters) were all very good.
We also loved all the fresh fruit.

HTH. :)

There wasn't much that we didn't like lol. However, my husbands favorite was Fried Chicken and then mine would be the Cheesesteak Wrap. I agree with one of the posters though try the ice cream station for dessert yummmmmmy.

I'm also going to Pop for the first time this year. We probably won't have anything but breakfast there, we have dinner ressies in the parks or other resorts each night. Is there a lot available for breakfast? And what would you recommend? I've seen a few people mention the bkfst pizza, anything else?

OK, I've been to Pop a LOT and the very best meal there (in my opinion) is the buttermilk fried chicken! It's the Mom's Night Out meal, but they don't have it every night. I'm pretty sure they have it on Friday and Saturday nights though. It comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with onions, and cornbread. We have to get that at least one night of our trip!

I am REALLY shocked to find so very many POP food court fans!

DH & I thought everything there was pretty awful, to be honest. I thoguht the Lo Mein was really, really greasy and lacked flavor, the calzone tasted kind of off, and the freis were anemic.

My parents just stayed there in February and really didn't like the food court, either. I know they had a breakfast platter on morning and were unimpressed, but another day had a far better on in one of the parks. I can't recall the other things they tried, but after 2 disappointing meals, they didn't want to risk a third.

The rice krispie heads. :goodvibes Yummo. I also like their pizza, cheesecake, and Mickey Waffles......

Is it June yet? :rotfl:
