Recommendations on O/N in Beckley, WV

Looks like Country Inn and Suites may be our choice for the o/n on the drive down from the 'shwa.

Any one else want to weigh in?

This was where I was looking also but ended up modifying my plans to include a stay about an hour over the boarder the first night. We will leave from Ajax around 4:30pm right after I get home from work. I would rather pay for the extra night than start our trip at 4am. I can't do more than 10hrs in a car due to my back. I'm sure DH could drive straight threw since he drives all day for work. Hope you have a safe drive!

I believe that is where we stayed...

Was ok, nothing special. Was clean enough. They had a breakfast bar setup in the middle of there gift shop... kinda weird.

I stayed at the Country Inn, in Beckley a few months ago. Rooms are clean, and the free breakfast was nice (not sure about the other comment re breakfast being in the middle of the gift shop --the breakfast I had was in the breakfast room area.).

We always leave around 4 am & drive until the Carolina's then stop for the night. Where are you driving from that makes you want to stop in Beckley? There really isn't much in Beckley.
