Recommendations on early dinner before MVMCP?

I've read we can enter the park as early as 4PM (?), so looking for suggestions on somewhere to eat for late lunch/early dinner, or if we can't enter MK at 4, somewhere we can go to eat and be back in time for official 7PM entry.

Is it true we can make 5PM MK restaurant res, and stay in the restaurant until start of the party? If so, recommendations on MK restaurants?

Yes, you can enter MK with just your party ticket starting at 4pm. Which means, yes you can make a 5pm ADR and stay in the park until the party starts.

If you're talking about a MVMCP for this year, you may have trouble making an ADR at this point (especially in or near MK). I would suggest planning a sit down late lunch (2:45-3pm is usually the latest). That will fill you up and then you'll be able to get to the park at 4ish. Grab some CS later in the evening if you get hungry

I agree with the PP. I made a 4:30PM reservation at TTS for the evening of our MVMCP but that was on June 9th at the 180 day mark. You can certainly keep trying you never know when someone will cancel, but more than likely you will have trouble getting something before 6:30 PM at this date.

I agree with the other 2 posters...I made a reservation at Crystal Palace and all that I could get for dinner was 6:50 (this was about a month ago) which I took but I feel is too late. I'm planning on showing up a little early because whenever I call back there isn't anything else available.

We are doing 1900 park faire on our MVMCP at 4;30

We've done Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern in other years. This year we made a 5:00 ADR at Kona at the Polynesian. Part of DD's attempt to eat at every WDW restaurant more than any real urge to eat there! If you can't get anything in the MK early enough to be done when the party starts, you might want to try for the earliest you can get at one of the monorail hotel restaurants. We've done Chef Mickey's before the MK parties before and enjoyed that as well as 1900 Park Fare.

For the most part, like the other posters said, ADRs are filled for the nights of the parties. You can keep an eye out on the ADR cancellation/trading thread, as well as keep calling WDW DINE to see if there are any cancellations. In my opinion, calling often about a month or so before you trip would be the best time.

We made ADR's for 2:00 at WCC at WL for before the party. That way we won't miss any part of the party. We are going to eat a late lunch/early dinner and then enjoy MK!!! We will snack if necessary.

You are going to have a hard time finding an ADR for dinner those nights. I tried for our trip in Nov. and nothing was open. I then booked one at the Grand Floridian Cafe for 3:00. After dinner we will head over to MK by boat.

We are going to the party on Nov 20th - I made an ADR for 4:05 at Crystal Palace....and I just made this ADR a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I was lucky?
