Anyone have any recommendations that I should look for while at All Star Movies resort - or things to stay away from?

My DH loved the (I have no idea how to correctly spell this) Quesidella...I hope you know what I mean. I think it was either just cheese or chicken and cheese. He lived on these the week we were there, and was disappointed on our last trip that Pop Century didn't have them.

My DH had grilled salmon with rice & steamed veggies one night for dinner on our last trip. It was one of his favorite meals all week (and we ate at Le Cellier, Mama Melrose, 1900 Park Fare, and several other TS restaurants!). He thought it was the best food at the greatest bargain all week. In fact, even though we're staying at Coronado Springs & Beach Club Villas, DH jokingly asks if we can go back & eat at the food court at ASMo!

I really, really liked the taco salad at Movies, had that a few times! DH got the London Broil meal (Mashed potatoes and some kind of veggie) and he said it was really good too. Nothing we got at Movies was bad, we liked it all. The pizza wasn't the greatest, but that's pretty much expected I think.

The salads and pastas for dinner. They are on the right side of the "station" that is just to the left of the help-your-self area (as you are looking into the food court from the cash registers. They are pretty much fixed to order. I can't remember exactly what I had, but both were wonderful.

The London broil (same station) was good too.

Stay away from the biscuits and gravy.

We enjoy the meatball subs. Also the quesadias (sp?) Surprisingly the cheeseburgers were VERY good too! :goodvibes

The cheese steak sub is to die for!!!!! :cloud9: I want one now!!! Each time we came back from the parks by noon, I would get one. My daughter also loved the chicken strips and fries basket... Also the breakfast potatoes were excellent! I would have been happy to have ordered just that alone.

Overall, I found the food at this resort very good. Happy munching!

I had the stuffed shells, salad and garlic bread for dinner one night. It was very, very good!

Well, I'm sad to admit that I always get the same thing.
My husband is the only one that eats different things.
I always have the beef taco salad (always..I LOVE it. I am from texas, moved to Maine about 6 years ago and "jones" for a good taco salad. and evey other kind of mexican food I can get.) I have one son that always gets penne pasta with marinara sauce, the other son gets spaghetti with meatballs.

The chicken ceasar salad was delicious. It was pretty big too. We also had the cheeseburgers and quesidias (sp.?) were very good too.

Does the food court as ASMo have light or low fat salad dressings? any healthy options of things??

oh and it's actually spelled quesadilla, it's a tricky one!

My son really enjoyed the quesadillas too. I tried a bite and it was pretty good. I actually got a grilled cheese sandwich once and it was really pretty good too. My daughter was the chicken finger queen, that's all she ate lunch and dinner the whole trip. She said they were good, well I dunno maybe she didn't say because she was too busy eating. We didn't end up with anything bad, I think may have had a burger, but I think all the WDW CS burgers are the same.

Just stay away from undone rotisserie chicken--all else was fine.

We were very pleased with all of the food we had at the Movies. We actually found ourselves eating more here than in the parks.

The cookie ice cream sandwiches are TO DIE FOR!!!!

It counts as real food, right? :cool1:

This was the only lunch/dinner item I had (dd had nuggets that weren't very good). The quesadilla was very yummy! I didn't like the brownie that we got...too dry.
DD and I shared chocolate chip pancakes every morning though:) Very yummy!

I had that on the last night of our trip when we got back to the room about 11:30. I am not sure if I was just really hungry or if it was really good, but I enjoyed every bite!! ;)
