Recommendations for TS & DS-first time visitors

Being from CA, we are DL veterans. We are planning our first family trip to WDW in March with the P/S/D promo. Staying 9 nights, 8 days at POR. Have kids 11,9,6. I did upgrade the 9 year old to 10 to get the adult meals. I am currently trying to book one TS meal a day and 1 DS for the trip. What do you guys recommend? I want something fun and unique for the kids. Of course I want Be Our Guest, but we just booked at 142 days out and those reservations are all gone. I did book Sci-Fi theater for our HS days and I was thinking of Hoop-Dee-Doo for our Dinner Show. Is there another DS you think is better?


I would love all of your expert opinions on the best TS restaurants to get.

Hoop De Doo would be a great DS for your family.

As to other places, you'd probably be able to make better choices for your family by looking over the menus. allearsnet.com is a great website with detailed menus.

If you're planning on seeing Fantasmic!, I would suggest using one credit for a F! dinner pkg at Mama Melrose. It will cut down on the time you need to spend in line to get into the theater.

One place that is fun for good-natured boys is 1900 Park Fare at dinner. Cinderella and her Prince are there, but so are the step-sisters and they usually make quite a fuss over any boys at the table (hoping to find their prince charming, of course).
