Recommendations for Christmas Dining

Okay -- I may be jumping the gun -- but what else to do on a Friday afternoon at work -- than think about our upcoming trip to Disney. We will be at WDW over Christmas -- and I need some good suggestions on where to make ADR for Christmas Eve and Christmas night dinners. DH does NOT want buffet type meals for these two days.

In past trips we have been to the Yachtsman (DH loves it) and the California Grill. We will be staying at the GF. I was thinking about the Yachtsman for one meal and maybe the Concourse Steakhouse for the other. DD, 12, will also be with us and isn't finicky about meals.

We ate at the Yachtsman on Christmas Day 2004. Food and service was great. We had a very festive time. My only complaint was the wait to be seated. We had an ADR for 13 and probably waited 45 minutes, but we did sit all together. 3 of the 4 kiddies fell asleep before dinner was over, but that wasn't so bad for the adults

In 2005, we had an early 4:30 Christmas Eve dinner at Le Cellier before CP - service was not too rushed, actually almost a little slow - but dinner was terrific. We had Christmas dinner at CRT - no turkey but really good food and good service. If you want a "real" Christmas dinner, check allears, because there were places. Our thing was to try restaurants we hadn't before (we used the Dining Plan) and it was wonderful. I would not recommend Liberty Tree Tavern - we tried that during our trip and it has gone downhill from what we remembered.

I would suggest Citrico's. We went not at Christmas but when we went the food is top notch and it is worth every penny.
