Recommendations for a Christmas meal?

We are making our second trip to WDW, and our first during the Christmas period.

Do any of the restaurants have special Christmas menus? Or do they continue to serve their regular food?

And does anyone know of somewhere that is especially 'magical' or luxurious where we could have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals?

I would be greatly appreciative of any recommendations.

In 2007, we had Xmas breakfast at 'Ohana (regular breakfast, no special options) & Xmas dinner at Chef Mickey's (there was turkey on the buffet). :santa:

Both meals were very good & the kids had a great time! :thumbsup2

I would keep a watch on the Swan/dolphin holiday menus. They have great options, special meals (all price ranges in the different restaurants).

Also..if you want to venture out on Christmas day...The Peabody resort in international drive always does the most wondeful holiday buffet, everything decorated beautifully and the food is fabulous.

Haven't checked into holiday meals at the Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton.

2008 we had Brunch at Chef Mickeys. It was good but I had no clue when booking it was a brunch and it had a ton of dinner type foods. I am odd and can't eat dinner foods for breakfast. I totally missed the HUGE breakfast spread I see in pics on the Dis. For dinner we did WCC and they had a set menu for the night. It was a holiday skillet. It had turkey, roast chicken, brisket and a pork with all the trimmings. It was really good. Dessert was a yule log and was kinda gross but we just went else where for dessert.

2009 we let the kids eat cake for breakfast since they had the pirate cruise that morning. Totally shocked them. They still talk about Mommy letting them have cake for breakfast. My youngest still says yeah for once she didn't make me eat fruit LOL. For dinner we went to Ohana and they had no special items just the regular menu.

This year the kids picked WCC for breakfast and Chef Mickeys for dinner. I kind of talked them into CM since I booked the Pirate and Pals fireworks cruise Christmas night as their Christmas present. I am so excited!! I can not wait for another Magical Christmas in Disney!

We usually stay st the Yacht Club and have for several years now..... except if we do a Christmas trip and then we stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Christmas is just so special there. It feels the way Christmas should feel, even when you are in FL and it is 70 degrees or more out.

There are special Christmas dinners there, but that isn't even the point really, it is the feel of the Lodge itself. You expect to walk outside and be hit by a snow ball.

The same feel exists at the Grand Californian by the way.
