Recommendation on exercise bike?

I would appreciate recommendations on exercise bikes. I see one at Costco (ProForm Tour de France) that offers a free one-year membership to IFit, but the reviews on the bike are decidedly mixed. Also, customer service from ProForm seems to be a problem.

We don't want to spend a fortune for a top of the line bike.

TIA.

I'm going to speak evil.

What if you went to your local bike shop and bought a lower end road bike, maybe spend $600 or $700. Then maybe get a lower end indoor trainer to clip your new road bike to. And then get one of those doodads to clip your existing iPad or whatever to the handlebar. And there's this app called Zwift that people seem to like..... But I have no idea. It just seems a lot of people sour on the stationary bikes eventually.

I'm old and I'm a Luddite, in the winter, I clip my road bike to the trainer in my basement and then listen to music on my 12 year old iPod. The rest of the year, I ride my bike outside and enjoy the local roads and trails.

Get a good used bike. Decades ago I purchased a 2 year old lifecycle bike for $500, still works.
