Recommendation for one night stay walking distance to DL?

Can anyone recommend a good hotel that is within walking distance to DL (the closer the better) for a one night stay on May 31st (memorial day).

Wanting somewhere that we can show up to very early in morning, park car, and walk to park. We wont spend much time in room at all but most important considerations are cleanliness, price and location.

We are driving from vegas, doing disneyland, spending one night and returning to vegas in the morning.

Depends on the $$ you want to spend. There's a 'boat' load of motels right across the street.

The closest hotels (motels) on Harbor Blvd. are the Best Western Park Place Inn (BWPPI) and the Park Vue Inn -- they're both right next to the pedestrian crosswalk. They are a 5 minute walk to the main entrance. The Howard Johnson (HoJo) is about a 10 minute walk.

Expedia.com is a good site to compare prices. (Enter 'Hotel,' 'An attraction,' and 'Disneyland Anaheim California.')

For May 31 (2 adults, 2 children), Expedia lists these walking distance hotels (motels):

Park Vue Inn: $104
BWPPI: $139
Anaheim Camelot Inn: $109
Tropicana Inn: $99
HoJo: $119 (the Entertainment Rate is not available for May 31)
Fairfield Inn: $119

(The above prices do not include the 15% tax.)

It also mentions the Desert Inn & Suites ($99) and the Anaheim Plaza ($89). The reviews for those two tend to be o.k.

I have stayed at the HoJo, Park Vue , and Camelot; and I would recommend those. The Camelot's sister-property is the Tropicana. You will likely hear pretty good things about the BWPPI and the Fairfield Inn.

Another popular hotel (motel) is the Candy Cane Inn, which has a dedicated shuttle. Although I've heard that the size of CCI's rooms are somewhat small.

At the BWPPI, I've heard that there's a preference for rooms that are located on the north side of the hotel.

Here are two quotes about the rooms at the BWPPI:

"Not sure what is in the standard rooms, but we have done a mini-suite at BWPPI three times over the last few years. They have a mini-fridge and a microwave, and of course the three queen beds (one is a roll-out). We always ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the Captain Kidd's restaurant."

“Yes, it does have an elevator. It’s slow but it works! We have stayed there a few times, and we always ask for the 3rd (upper floor), north side of the building. Much of the parking for the hotel faces in to the rooms on the bottom floor so you get headlights and car noises you won’t get as much on other floors. The north side of the building is the side away from Cpt. Kidds restaurant. I understand that they sometimes get early morning deliveries and you can hear the delivery trucks.
We stay at BWPPI because of their “mini-suites” rooms which have 2 queen beds and a fold-out couch. Last time we went we had room 369 (I think). It was about 8 – 10 room back from the front of the hotel which worked great. This is our favorite place to stay when we go to DLR.”
