Recommendation for BLT

Will be staying at BLT for 10 days in Aug. Have a 1 bedroom standard view and have never stayed there. We'd like to submit a request for a specific room now so we have the possibility of getting some sort of view. Would like a view of MK if at all possible. Now all I need is a recommendation on a room with a view that fits this category. Any recommendations from the seasoned BLT veterans?

Simply request an even #'d room and that will put you on the outside of the resort with a chance to see the MK.

As you know, these are just requests so no guarantees and there are very few SV rooms so good luck!

But we stayed in a SV room in 2009 and faced the pool. It was 3rd floor and really nice so I think you will do okay no matter what!

We will also be there in August so have fun!

As the previous poster stated, it would be best to simply request an even number room. This is really the only chance of getting that MK view from a standard view room category. On a personal note I don't think there is a real bad view from any angle at BLT. Good luck and have fun!

Even if you got a room facing towards the MK, I am not sure how much of it you would see from your room. Remember you can always go to the TOW and see the fireworks (or just hang out), no matter where your room is.

I would not like to be on the first floor.

Get suggestions from the DIS gang, and make your request.
As others have said, you may not get it.
I have been there twice, and have not gotten my requests. Not even close to what I asked for.
On the other hand, I had a great visit, nice room, and even though I was initially disapointed, ultimately it really didn't matter.
